Lithuania Could Gain Global Recognition in Science: A Unique Chair Created in Vilnius

The Faculty of Electronics and Informatics at Vilnius College presented an exceptional innovation – a special relaxation system designed for children with autism spectrum disorder.

A team of Lithuanian scientists has developed a solution for children with autism.

A team of scientists from Lithuanian universities, working with the company 'NP5' (project manager Viktorija Laucytė-Mizgerienė; Vilnius University – Dr. Vytautas Žalys, Dr. Margarita Jurevičienė, Dr. Miglė Dovydaitienė; Klaipėda University – Dr. Laura Straubergaitė-Žalienė; Vilnius College – Dr. Eugenijus Mačerauskas; students Erikas Ašaka and Slavomir Četyrkovski), helped turn a long-developed idea into reality: they created and are now testing an AI-powered relaxation system – the 'Chair' – designed for children with autism.
