Sound
At the outset of developing the relaxation system, the required technologies were meticulously evaluated. Given the need for full integration—ensuring seamless interaction among sound, light, and colors—and the operator's ability to manage the relaxation process, the chair was equipped with advanced audio features. These included four speakers for high and mid frequencies (two positioned at the top and two at the bottom of the backrest) and one LFE (Low-Frequency Effects) speaker mounted beneath the chair.
Drawing on research findings and expert recommendations, custom soundtracks were designed specifically for the system. These soundtracks envelop the chair's space in soothing melodies and calming soundscapes, enhancing the relaxation experience.

Colors and music
Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) are particularly sensitive, and their mood can be significantly influenced by lighting. Soft, calming colors, such as blue, can help them relax and inspire creativity. Conversely, flickering, buzzing, or overly intense lights may cause irritation.
In the study of the relaxation system, carefully chosen soundtracks and the full spectrum of colors produced by the chair were tested. The research revealed a clear correlation between music selection and color preferences. Analyzing the combinations of soundtracks and colors demonstrated that these preferences are not random. Moreover, the findings confirmed that color and music therapy can effectively foster deep relaxation, promote inner balance, and achieve a rapid calming effect.

Massage therapy has been shown to positively influence the structure and function of the musculoskeletal system by triggering a relaxation response, reducing muscle tension, and alleviating tonic muscle contractions. Experts highlight that such therapies can be particularly beneficial for children with autism, who often have limited body awareness and may be sensitive or resistant to touch. Research indicates that after receiving massage therapy, these children often become more social and attentive.
The chair’s integrated massage system is thoughtfully designed to support relaxation by simulating a gentle embrace and applying soft compression. This provides a calming, reassuring experience tailored to the unique needs of children with autism.

Comforting shape
The design of the furniture was based on a prototype and recommendations developed by researchers during the study. The primary objective was to create a cozy, cocoon-like form, offering a space where a child could feel safe, retreat, and rest while remaining in an environment shared with others.
Additionally, the shape was carefully chosen to meet specific technical requirements, ensuring the optimal delivery of therapeutic effects and enhancing the quality of both sound and light therapy.

The "Neurocass" chair was developed based on research findings and the recommendations provided by scientists.
According to the study results, combining vibrational-massage, acoustic-music, and light-color effects can help a child with autism regain emotional balance in ten times less time compared to passive relaxation methods.
The "Neurocass" chair features an artificial intelligence system capable of recognizing emotions with sufficient accuracy, allowing it to automatically respond to the child's emotional state and reactions.
The relaxation scenarios are individualized, and the AI-based scenario selection system proved effective during the research. The system can process a child’s responses automatically and create tailored relaxation scenarios for each child based on their reactions to the stimuli.
